Royal Challenger Bangalore 2011 team

The team Royal challenger Bangalore is one of the cricket teams from Bangalore owned by Dr.Vijay Mallya, the second top luxurious franchise among IPL 2008. It is being escorted under the captainship of Daniel Vettori. The team is coached by South Africa Ray Jennings and Assistant head coach is India Sanath Kumar in the IPL season. The IPL teams symbolized different cities of India where they were set on auction where Bangalore's Royal Challenger Bangalore team was taken by Vijay Mallya for US$111.6 million.

The team song of the team RCB season 2008 was "Jeetenge Hum Shaan Se", while the season 2009 has the team anthem "Game for More", music composed by Amit Trivedi. The team strength is supported by the two experienced veterans Dravid and Kumble. CEO of Royal challenger Bangalore is Brijesh Patel and the Manager of the team is Avinash Vaidya. The colors of the team are red and golden yellow which is similar to that of the Karnataka state flag whilst the logo is RC emblem with standard representation.

The team royal challenger Bangalore team for the IPL 4 Indian players includes Virat Kohli, Zaheer Khan, Saurabh Tiwary, Cheteshwar Pujara, Mohammed Kaif, Arun Karthik, Abar Kazi, CM Gautham, Raju Bhatkal, Mayank Agarwal, Bharath Nayayan, Sreenath Aravind, Asad Khan Pathan and Ryan Ninan. Anil kumble is the mentor of the team while Evan Speechly of South Africa is the Physiotherapist looking after the healthy team condition. Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif are the brand Ambassador supporting the Royal challengers Bangalore.

RCB in IPL 1 to IPL4 (2008 to 2011)

In the session 1, IPL 2008, the team has won 4 out of 14 matches still coped to fit into the last but one place in the points table. The session IPL 2008 was highly not up to scratch for RCB, as only Rahul Dravid managed to hit the score exceeding 300 runs. Over time the captainship was moved on to Anil Kumble, the former Indian Test Captain. The team restarted with their dazzling performance winning 6 matches taking the team a head towards the semi-finals. RCB defeated the CSK and moved to the finals where they lost in opposition to the Deccan Chargers by 6 runs. It was a challenging moment that RCB faced in the Season 2 IPL which marked a stunning performance holding runner ups at the finals.

It was an assorted success and fall in the third season, starting with a defeat against Knight Riders followed by four successive matches in the row with maximum run chase. The next peak run chase was in opposition to Kings XI Punjab followed by Rajasthan Royals, Mumbai Indians and Chennai super kings team. The season 4 IPL has created an expectation of outstanding performance from the Royal challengers Bangalore which is lead by Daniel Vettori, who is the well known New Zealand Skipper. Under the captainship of Anil Kumble for the last two seasons 2009 and 2010, RCB grabbed the runners up calling for third best team. Now the situation turned moving Kumble as the Chief /mentor of the RCB Team where he will form the strong grouping with Vettori to take home victory this time.

After 12 Matches, Royal Challengers Bangalore Stands at the second position next to Chennai super Kings with 8 winnings and 4 matches lost with 17 points with one no results. RCB is likely to give a hard-hitting contest to other teams in the season 4 of IPL.
